Lately: Sex & Intimacy Tracker Android

Lately: Sex & Intimacy Tracker

A private sex tracker and intimacy journal for couples. No account, no sync.

Overview

Features & Capabilities

Lately is a private journal of your intimate life. It is a sex tracker, a diary and a calendar in one, and it stays on the phone: no account, no cloud, no sync, nothing to sign up for.

How long has it been

The first screen answers exactly that. Days since the last entry, six months of rhythm at a glance, and a short list of what has not happened in a while. In a long relationship that is the thing worth knowing, and it is easy to lose track of without writing it down.

A calendar you can read in one look

A month at a time, a color for each partner, an optional mark for what happened. Days when nothing happened can be marked too, with a reason, so a gap in the month is explained rather than blank. Illness, a trip, a bad week, whatever it was.

As much or as little as you want to write

Date, time of day, activities, who started it, how long, where, positions, protection, how it was for each of you, and a note in your own words. Your partner can add their own note and their own rating, so nothing is written on their behalf. Every field is optional, and an entry can be nothing but a date.

Your lists belong to you, and editing them is free

Activities, places, positions, partners: add your own, rename them, delete the ones you never use. None of that is behind a purchase.

Patterns

Rhythm by month, the longest gaps, who starts it more often, what you do and what you have not done in a while. There is also a summary you can hand across the table: it says the useful part without showing the details.

Backup and restore, free

Export the whole journal to a file and restore it on another phone running Lately. It is free and it stays free. Keep an export somewhere safe: because nothing is stored anywhere but the phone, uninstalling the app or losing the phone takes the journal with it.

The Lock

If you want the journal locked:

- a PIN before it opens, with fingerprint or face unlock if your phone has it
- screenshots blocked, and the app's preview in the recent apps list left blank
- a password on the backup file, which is the only part of your journal that ever leaves the phone

What Lately does not do

No account, no cloud, no sync between phones, no advertising, no analytics. Your entries never leave the phone unless you export them yourself. Two people keep the journal together on one device, not on two. It is not a period tracker and it is not a health app. It does one thing.
