2024-11-05	Pe*****	It's ok, but needs to be quicker, with better tools for managing messages. I have 47 old and unread messages which I cannot quickly mark as read. I will probably never get on top of the messages to the point that only new messages are marked as unread, because its so slow. Could we have swipe options to mark as read like Gmail? Or multiple select, so we can mark messages as read, in a batch? Message loading is slow too! And notifications never work, however I've not tried to fix this.

2024-09-04	M *****	An option to mark all messages as "read" would be helpful. My child starts reception this September and I've just set up my account. I've logged in and I've got 99+ messages which include messages from last year which aren't applicable to me. There's going to be no way of clearing that unless I go into every message and read them.

2024-06-10	je*****	The app is very temperamental & it doesn't seem to work more & more. I can't get into the messages because it's always buffering, I don't always receive messages that other parents have received and other parents have mentioned this too so it's not just me. I think this app is long overdue an update!

2024-06-09	Al*****	Appalling App, the fact that they take money from schools and provide them with this utter garbage is abhorrent. The app constantly fails to load properly, you're left clearing cache and data to get it to work. You then need to log in again but it won't accept your details which I know are correct so you have to reset password but that fails to work meaning a frustrated phone call to the school receptionist. Hopefully other schools will read the reviews and not bother and find something else.

2024-02-13	Ma*****	Editing this review as the bug I reported regarding links not opening on recent Android versions has now been fixed; this app works well and is much more convenient than having the school send everything by email, text or carrier pigeon (selected at random) as was the case before. There are still some improvements to be made (such as functionality to allow copying text in messages) but generally speaking a good experience at least from a parent's point of view

2023-11-10	Mi*****	App is not user friendly. When reading messages it would be better to be and to swipe left and right to move between messages or notifications. There should be a way to mark all read. Lastly if you have more than 1 child you can get the same message multiple times. E.g school news for all years. Then you get 1 message per child. It would be simple to just send 1 message and have a comma separated list of the impacted children! Come on developers

2023-11-05	Ey*****	Unfortunately, the app has major issues with notifications. The only way to get the notifications from the app is to turn on email notifications which means I'm getting the same messages as emails and app notifications multiply times and with more than one kid at school it's a headache with going through them all. Not a fan.

2023-05-19	Al*****	This app is a great tool for schools to get information to parents, but since the latest update it takes a long time to load the messages, a long time to register that you have read a message (very annoying as i have twins, so get two of every message) and using the payment function is a half hour activity, as it takes so long to load! Unfortunately this is the app the school use, so I'm stuck with it.

I updated it to the latest version and tried reinstalling, it still does the same thing. Notifications are shown on my screen, but once I click on them the app freezes mid-opening. Likewise the app does not open at all if I try to open it from my app library. I appreciate the support, but unfortunately the app is still severely dysfunctional.

2023-03-11	Ga*****	I have updated to latest version 4.0 (Osprey). Performance seem to be degraded as the messages take longer to open. Also, not able to book Parents Evening Meeting for my child using SchoolPing app. Every time I try to book a slot, the error message comes up saying "Unexpected error occured" with button to "Reload App". I tried other phones as well, but same results. Other parents are also reporting same problem. Please fix this.
