User Reviews

User reviews show WeatherLink Android delivers strong data access and global station visibility, with clear data presentation and cross‑device usability. However, persistent monetization and UX problems—ads after purchase, onboarding hurdles, data inaccuracies and updates issues, reliability bugs, and missing features—significantly detract from the experience. The app’s value lies in its data utility, but frictions around ads and usability hamper widespread satisfaction.
Pros
  • Live access to my Davis station data and to other stations worldwide.
  • Data is presented clearly and is sometimes better than the WeatherLink console.
  • Useful across devices (phone and computer) for monitoring on the go.
  • Highly valued for its data utility and ability to compare local stations.
Cons
  • Ads introduced in the app, including after paying for hardware, with some content concerns.
  • Onboarding problems: cannot sign in, cannot add a profile picture, or create a profile.
  • Data issues: wrong time/date on graphs, missing current data, and data gaps after updates.
  • Reliability bugs: frequent 'request failed' errors and occasional crashes.
  • Missing features and dated UI: no widgets, no landscape mode, no alerts, and general UX gaps.

have a pro 2 plus and 6313 console. the console appears to be fine on the website but here the app only shows internal readings have done hours worth of sign out in reboot console etc it also won't send data from weatherling to WU despite settings being all correct

no longer supports vantage vue link ip. they wat me to purchase a whole new weather station or wireless hub. why? this app and website is garbage. Davis instruments are obsolete and behind the curve. Will try an Ambient weather station if I need a new one ( I don't the vantage vue still works can't see weather on the net now as Davis doesn't support linkip anymore)

Why do you have a note in the Android version of this app about the Apple iOS version having an issue? Duh. App is basic in the extreme. The forecast is terrible and Davis refuses to say what sources they use to develop it. And why does the current day disappear from the forecast at 4 pm every afternoon? There's still 8 hours left in the day. Dumb
