However, persistent monetization and UX problems—ads after purchase, onboarding hurdles, data inaccuracies and updates issues, reliability bugs, and missing features—significantly detract from the experience. The app’s value lies in its data utility, but frictions around ads and usability hamper widespread satisfaction.

Live access to my Davis station data and to other stations worldwide.
Data is presented clearly and is sometimes better than the WeatherLink console.
Useful across devices (phone and computer) for monitoring on the go.
Highly valued for its data utility and ability to compare local stations.

Cons

Ads introduced in the app, including after paying for hardware, with some content concerns.
Onboarding problems: cannot sign in, cannot add a profile picture, or create a profile.
Data issues: wrong time/date on graphs, missing current data, and data gaps after updates.
Reliability bugs: frequent 'request failed' errors and occasional crashes.
Missing features and dated UI: no widgets, no landscape mode, no alerts, and general UX gaps.

Recent reviews

Not anywhere near like the pictures show you. There is no map in the app. The live data is never live and takes 5 minutes to update. At least make it look like the pictures here.
