I. Story


The Bible, which means 'holy book' or 'holy scripture' in Korean, is a translation of the Greek word 'Biblion' (plural). The word 'Biblia', which was originally meant as a 'book', became a proper noun for the Bible in the 12th century. The Bible is divided into 'Old Testament' and 'New Testament'. The Testament in English means' the covenant of the covenant. 'The covenant God made with the Israelites through Moses' intervention is called the Old Testament, the Old Testament, and the New Testament, which God has made through Jesus Christ It is called the New Testament.
66 books of the Old and New Testaments were written by about 40 authors, each of about 1,500 years. It also records the history of different ages, or discusses the doctrines of different themes. The range is also very broad and profound.
