Shared Health Safe

Shared Health Safe is the official safety app of Shared Health Manitoba. The app will send you important security and safety notifications and provide instant access to safety resources.

Shared Health Safe features include:

· Contact HSC Security: Contact HSC Security in case of a security concern.

· HSC Hold & Secure Information: information on the Hold & Secure protocol to help protect and inform staff, patients and visitors during external or internal threats. This can be accessed even when users aren't connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data.

· HSC Safe Walk/Ride: If a user feels unsafe when walking in the hospital area, they can request a Safe Walk/Ride to parkades and bus stops within the HSC campus.

· Friend Walk : Send your location to a friend through email or SMS on your device. Once the friend accepts the Friend Walk request, the user picks their destination and their friend tracks their location in real time; they can keep an eye on them to make sure they make it safely to their destination.

· Safety Toolbox: Enhance your safety with the set of tools provided in one convenient app.
· Notification History: Find previous push notifications for this app with the date and time.
· I'm OK!: Send your location and a message indicating that "You're OK" to a recipient of your choosing.

· HSC Maps: Navigate around the HSC Campus.

· Loud Alarm: Press the button to start a loud alarm siren.

· Safety Notifications: Receive instant notifications and instructions when there are threats in the area.
