NOLA READY

NOLA READY is the official safety app of the City of New Orleans. It is the only app that integrates with City of New Orleans's safety and security systems. The City of New Orleans has worked to develop a unique app that provides students, faculty and staff with added safety on the City of New Orleans. The app will send you important safety alerts and provide instant access to community safety resources.

NOLA READY features include:

- Call for Emergencies: Contact the correct services for the City of New Orleans area in case of an emergency or a non-emergency concern

- NOLA Ready: Stay connected, make a plan, gather supplies. NOLA Ready is your partner in emergency preparedness. Sign-up for Smart911! Get alerted about emergencies and other important community news by signing up for our Emergency Alert Program.

- Streetwise: New Orleans street closure listing and reported street flooding

- Weatherwise: In partnership with WeatherSTEM, get up to date weather reports.

- Make a Plan: Access to Emergency Plans. Make a plan with your family for hurricane season, and for other emergencies too.

- Friend Walk: Send your location to a friend through email or SMS on your device. Once the friend accepts the Friend Walk request, the user picks their destination and their friend tracks their location in real time; they can keep an eye on them to make sure they make it safely to their destination.

- Entergy Outage Map: Register for Outage Alerts. Get the latest outage updates.

- SWBNO's Pumping and Power Dashboard: Customers can test the dashboard and provide feedback to SWBNO via email at outreach@swbno.org. The page will continue to evolve as we add more capabilities and receive user feedback. We are working to optimize the page for mobile.

- NOLA 311: Submit a 311 Report.

- Volunteer: Get involved with a disaster volunteer organization before an emergency will increase your ability to help when help is needed.

- Safety Notifications: Receive instant notifications and instructions from the City of New Orleans safety when community emergencies occur.
