The app helps screen for autism using two standardized tools: the CARS survey, which helps detect the presence and level of autism, and the VSMS assessment, which provides a Social Maturity Rating to understand a child’s adaptive behavior and social development. After completing the CARS assessment, users are clearly advised to consult a qualified healthcare professional or developmental specialist for proper evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment guidance. For users in Pakistan, Curio also provides a dedicated “Find Help” section that helps families connect with relevant domain experts and support resources near them.

Beyond screening, Curio offers a complete therapy and learning support system. The app includes a dedicated Therapies section with engaging activities and exercises focused on motor skills, language development, cognitive skills, and socializing abilities, specially designed for children aged 2 to 8 years.
