Love billiards and want to check how much you really know? CueQuiz turns pool facts into a quick, focused quiz you can play anytime on your phone. No table required — just read each question, pick one of four answers, and see how far you can go before your lives run out.

How CueQuiz works

Tap Play on the start screen and jump straight into Level 1. Each round in CueQuiz has eight questions about pool and billiards. Every question gives you four possible answers — only one is correct. Tap the answer you think is right and move on to the next one.

You have fifteen seconds for each question. A timer counts down on the screen, so there is no time to overthink. Answer correctly and you keep going. Pick the wrong answer or let the clock hit zero, and you lose one life. You start with three lives, shown as hearts at the top of the screen.

Score and streak bonus

Every correct answer adds one hundred points to your score. Answer three questions in a row without a mistake and CueQuiz gives you a streak bonus — an extra fifty points on top of the usual reward. A wrong answer or a timeout resets your streak, so staying calm and focused pays off.

Your current score, question number, level, and remaining time are always visible during play. You always know where you stand: Question 3 of 8, Level 1, two lives left, twelve seconds on the clock.

Two levels of pool knowledge

CueQuiz is split into two levels with different difficulty.

Level 1 covers the basics: how many balls are in eight-ball, what color the cue ball is, what the table cloth is called, how many pockets a table has, what a scratch is, which ball is pocketed last in eight-ball, what a break shot means, and the shape of a standard table. A solid starting point if you are new to the game or want a warm-up.

Level 2 goes deeper: ball size, nine-ball break rules, advanced shots like masse and bank shots, cue tip materials, foul penalties, what "English" means on the cue ball, snooker scoring, and more. Unlock Level 2 by completing Level 1 with at least one life remaining.
