CrystalCave Gem Mining Puzzle

CrystalCave puts you in control of a helmeted miner deep underground. The cave is a seven by twelve grid of rock with crystal gem veins threading through it. Swipe in any direction to dig one step that way. The miner breaks through soft grey rock easily but dark hard rock cannot be broken so you must route around it. Five gem types are embedded in the cave walls — amethyst, sapphire, emerald, ruby and gold — each glowing with a unique colour and worth increasing amounts of points when dug through. Orange bomb cells blast a three by three area when dug clearing multiple rocks and gems at once. The goal of each level is to reach the golden exit at the bottom of the cave. Collecting gems along the way earns bonus points and the exit rewards you with extra points based on how few moves you used to reach it. Ten levels increase in difficulty by adding more hard rock walls, rarer gem types and deeper cave layouts. The rock layers darken with depth giving a sense of descending far underground. Crystal clusters twinkle with their own internal glow light.
