CRRI RiceNXpert

CRRI RiceNXpert is a smart agriculture tool developed for ICAR-National Rice Research Institute (NRRI), Cuttack. It helps rice farmers optimize nitrogen fertilizer application by analyzing leaf color and providing real-time, precise recommendations.

Using your phone's camera, you can capture images of fully expanded rice leaves to instantly assess their nitrogen status. The app processes these images to determine the Leaf Color Chart value and provides tailored fertilizer dosage recommendations. This helps reduce input costs while maximizing crop yield.

The app supports session tracking, so you can manage multiple assessments and review your history. Simply create a session, capture images of 10 leaves against a white background or your hand, and receive your recommendation. It works efficiently in the field with minimal connectivity.
