GridFlick: Movie & TV Puzzles

GridFlick is the first proper native mobile app for the movie and TV grid puzzle format - built for Android.

Every day, a new 3x3 grid appears. Three rows, each an actor or director. Three columns, each a condition. Your job: find a film or TV show that satisfies both its row's actor and its column's condition for all nine cells. All nine answers must be unique and you can't use the same title twice.

One puzzle a day. Same puzzle for every player worldwide. No timer. No pressure. Just you and your knowledge of film and TV.

HOW TO PLAY

- Tap any cell to open the search
- Type the name of a film or TV show
- It must feature that row's actor AND meet that column's condition
- Get all nine right for a perfect game
- You get one attempt per day so make it count

CONDITIONS THAT REWARD REAL KNOWLEDGE

Conditions are designed to reward people who love to watch things and geek out about their movie and TV knowledge. Examples include:

- Genre — Drama, Comedy, Sci-Fi, Thriller
- Decade — released in the 1980s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s
- Awards — won an Oscar, received 10+ nominations
- Network or streaming service — HBO, Netflix, BBC, Amazon
- TV-specific — ran for 5+ seasons, currently running, ended
- Co-star — appeared alongside a specific actor

The obvious answer is rarely the highest-scoring one.

SCORING

Every correct answer earns points, but the less obvious the title, the more you score. Answering with something the actor is well known for earns 1 point. Going beyond the obvious earns 5. Get all nine cells right and earn a 10-point bonus. Maximum score: 45 points.

GridFlick covers both movies and TV series spanning decades, genres, networks, and streaming platforms. A valid answer can be either a film or a show — whichever correctly satisfies the actor and the condition.

Track your performance over time — no account required. Stats stored privately on your device include:
