User Reviews

Users appreciate the app's ad-free nature, good compression quality, and inclusion of presets, making it a solid FFmpeg implementation on Android. However, many report crashes and limited features such as lack of command auto-complete and saving, making it less friendly, especially for beginners. The user interface is considered outdated and unintuitive, and compatibility problems occur after Android updates. Overall, it's valued by users who know FFmpeg but could benefit from enhancements to usability and stability.

Pros

  • No ads or in-app purchases, providing a clean user experience.
  • Good compression quality and speed compared to alternatives.
  • Includes presets that help with common tasks.
  • Lightweight and straightforward implementation of FFmpeg on Android.
  • User interface is clear enough for those familiar with FFmpeg commands.

Cons

  • App can crash occasionally during media conversion.
  • Lacks convenience features like command saving, auto-complete, and easier command input.
  • Limited functionality compared to competitors; missing advanced options such as glob patterns, file-list imports, and profiles.
  • User interface is not intuitive for beginners and feels outdated, lacking a modern design.
  • Compatibility issues after Android updates, causing the app to stop working for some users.
