Critterkeep: Reptile Care

Critterkeep is an offline care journal for reptiles, insects, arachnids and amphibians.

YOUR CRITTERS
Add each animal with a name, species, type, gender and enclosure notes, and give its card a colour so you can tell them apart at a glance. Switch between animals with a tap — the journal, the calendar and the stats all follow whichever critter is selected.

CARE JOURNAL
Log the three things you actually repeat week after week:
• Feeding — prey type, quantity, and whether it was dusted with calcium or vitamins
• Shedding — complete, incomplete or a stuck shed
• Habitat check — temperature in °F, humidity percentage, misting and spot cleaning

Every entry is timestamped and kept newest-first, with room for your own observations.

CALENDAR AND REMINDERS
Schedule feedings, shedding checks, habitat checks and mistings for the week ahead, each with a morning, afternoon or evening reminder delivered as a notification. Pending tasks show up as coloured dots on the month grid, so a glance tells you what is due. Ticking a task off writes the matching entry straight into the care journal.

KEY INDICATORS
One card answers the questions you actually ask: when did it last eat, when did it last shed and how did that shed go, what was the last logged temperature, and when was the enclosure last misted.

CARE GUIDANCE
Short built-in notes on feeding and habitat basics, with separate guidance for reptiles and for invertebrates.

COMPLETELY OFFLINE
Everything stays in a local database on your device. No account, no sign-up, no internet permission, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The only permission Critterkeep asks for is permission to show you reminders.

Comes with two example animals and some sample entries so you can see how everything fits together before adding your own.
