CREW8 Events: Ticket-Scanner

The CREW8 Events - Ticket Scanner app offers a comprehensive solution for admission management at CREW8 Events events.

The app allows scanning unlimited tickets at the same time and offers different scanning modes:
+ a fast mode with beep and vibration function
+ slightly slower mode with detailed ticket information.

A central advantage of the app is the overview of the event's occupancy and the ability to analyze the admission process. Organizers can download the entry code for their event from the portal at any time; the QR code for entry will be sent six hours before the start of the event. Alternatively, the QR code can also be sent to the admission staff by email.

Before scanning begins, admission staff must register at the event using the QR code provided by the organizer. This ensures that all entry activities can be correctly attributed and monitored.

The ticket scanner app creates detailed statistics and evaluations that are sent directly to the organizer. This data includes information about occupancy at different times, the number of tickets scanned per entry staff and the most common ticket categories.


Ticket Scanner App Features:

+ Access authorization: Reliably check the tickets purchased at CREW8 Events for access authorization.

+ Entry mode: Choose between a detailed mode and a quick mode that only shows validity (valid/invalid).

+ Ticket status: Identify admitted, canceled and canceled tickets immediately.

+ Ticket scan: Scan tickets conveniently using a camera (QR code).

+ Network options: Scan tickets via mobile network or WiFi.

+ Offline mode: Use the app even without an internet connection after the entry data has been downloaded.


Requirements for successful ticket scanning:

+ The QR code for registering the admission staff at the ticket scanner.
(The QR code is available for download in the organizer’s dashboard)

+ A device with a camera to scan QR codes. (On request also CREW8 Events - scanning devices)

+ The app can only be used for business use (no private use).

+ The ticket scanner system requires at least Android 8.0.
