AHOY points you to exactly what you need — specific chapters, articles, and passages — so every minute of study time counts.
HOW IT WORKS
Tell AHOY two things: your rating and your current pipeline stage. That's it. AHOY builds a personalized course of study drawn from official Navy training resources including the Blue Jacket's Manual, Basic Military Requirements (NAVEDTRA 14325), rate training manuals, and Navy COOL credentialing references.
Choose how much time you have — 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or an hour — and AHOY serves up focused study tasks sized to fit your schedule. Sailors don't always have the luxury of long study sessions, and AHOY is designed for the way you actually train: in the gaps between watches, in the barracks before lights out, on your phone during downtime.
LEARN, THEN PROVE IT
When you finish a study task, AHOY tests your knowledge with targeted questions. Score 70% or above and you move forward. Below 70%, AHOY identifies exactly where the gaps are and builds a remedial path focused on what you missed — not a generic review, but laser-focused reinforcement on the specific concepts you need to revisit.

Polaris, AHOY's built-in AI training mentor, is available to explain topics in plain language, provide real-world examples from shipboard and shore duty, and point you to the right references.
