What is the Pomodoro Technique?

A time management method created by Francesco Cirillo in Italy. Alternating 25 minutes of focus with 5 minutes of rest reduces mental fatigue and makes it much easier to stay focused for long stretches. It's also known as the "tomato timer" method, after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer Cirillo originally used.
