Crates

Crates is a next-generation music app providing a trusted home for dedicated listeners - combining library management, in-app streaming, deep customization, and community-driven discovery.

Crates Mobile is a companion app that works together with Crates Desktop and requires that you have Crates installed on your Mac or Windows computer.

Please note that, for now, Crates Mobile works only with Supporter accounts.

The mobile app connects directly to your personal Crates library and syncs your music collection database privately, without uploading your data to third-party servers. Your music library stays under your control.

To help you carry your music collection with you, Crates can optionally convert large audio formats such as WAV, FLAC or AIFF to smaller files to save space on your device. Files can then be transferred quickly over Wi-Fi with a single click.

Crates also lets you listen to your Bandcamp, YouTube and SoundCloud bookmarks and playlists directly from within the app.

When connected to the same Wi-Fi network, you can stream your local files directly from your Crates desktop or control the desktop player remotely.
