Crane Echo

Crane Echo - a memory game set on a construction site, where six signs (bricks, a crane, a hard hat, a glass frame, a foundation slab and scaffolding) sit in two rows of three under a large signal board. Each round begins with the tiles lighting up one after another in a set order while the same sign appears on the board above them, and once the sequence is shown the same order has to be repeated by tapping the tiles. Every cleared round adds one more sign to the order, so the sequence grows step by step and the amount held in memory increases with each round. Points are added for every cleared round and grow with its length, while the current round number and the running score are shown on two hanging counters at the top of the play field. A single wrong tap ends the run and opens a summary panel with the final score and the round that was reached, with the options to start again from a clean state or to return to the menu. A pause button stays available during a round and freezes the sequence, the timers and the input, offering continuing from the same place, restarting the run or leaving to the menu. Settings keep vibration and visual effects on or off, switch the pace of the sequence between three levels that change how fast the signs light up, show the best score with a separate reset next to it, and allow clearing all saved progress. A statistics panel collects the number of runs played, the best round, the best and the total score, the average score per run and the tap accuracy in percent. All of these values, together with the chosen settings, are stored on the device and stay between launches, and a separate panel explains how the sequence works and when a run ends.
