CraftSum

CraftSum helps handmade sellers calculate product costs, evaluate selling prices, and understand estimated profit—all in one convenient, offline app.

Whether you create candles, jewelry, crochet pieces, decorations, or other handmade products, CraftSum brings your materials, time, and expenses together so you can make better-informed pricing decisions.

Calculate your product costs

Build a detailed cost breakdown that includes materials, labor, packaging, overhead, material waste, seller-paid shipping, and selling fees.

Calculate costs for individual products or batches. Enter your hourly rate and production time to account for the work that goes into every item.

Calculate material costs from bulk purchases

Understand the cost of the supplies you actually use.

Enter a material’s purchase price, the quantity purchased, and the amount used in your product. CraftSum calculates that material’s contribution to your product cost.

Save frequently used supplies in a reusable materials library to simplify future calculations.

Explore selling prices and profit margins

Enter a selling price to see your estimated profit and profit margin after the costs and fees you have included.

Check your break-even price or enter a target profit margin to calculate a suggested selling price. Adjust your inputs to compare pricing options before deciding what to charge.

Include both percentage-based and fixed selling fees using your own values.

Organize your products and materials

Keep your saved products and materials in searchable libraries. Duplicate existing products to create variations without starting every calculation from scratch.

Your working draft saves automatically, allowing you to return to an unfinished calculation.

Saved products retain their original material costs until you choose to refresh them, helping you keep control over changes to previous calculations.

Back up and export your work

Create and restore JSON backups to keep a separate copy of your records or transfer them to another device.

Export product calculations as CSV or copy a pricing summary for your own records. Back up your data regularly, especially before changing devices or uninstalling the app.

Work offline, without distractions

CraftSum works offline and stores your data on your device. No account is required.

The portrait interface keeps your calculations easy to navigate, with light and dark themes to suit your preference.

One upfront purchase. No ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

Make informed pricing decisions

CraftSum provides estimates based on the information you enter. Results reflect only the costs and fees included in your calculations. Review your inputs and account for any applicable taxes or additional expenses before setting your final selling prices.

Bring clarity to your costs and confidence to your pricing with CraftSum.
