Cradle: Baby White Noise

Cradle plays white noise for a sleeping baby. That is the whole app.

Ten sounds, each with a name
White noise, pink noise and brown noise. Womb and a human shush. Hair dryer, fan and
vacuum — the household sounds parents actually reach for. Rain and ocean.

No limit by default
The timer starts switched off, because that is what most parents want at 3 a.m. If you do
want one, there are nine durations up to ten hours, and the sound fades out instead of
cutting.

Its own volume
Five steps, below your phone's own volume, with targets big enough to hit in the dark.
Your phone's smallest step is already too loud for a bedroom.

Mix two sounds
Pick a second sound and give it its own volume. Rain under a shush, womb under a fan.

Works with no connection
Every sound is generated and ships inside the app. Nothing is downloaded, nothing is
streamed, nothing has to load before you can press play.

No ads. No accounts. No data.
There is no advertising SDK, no analytics, no sign-up and no server. Cradle does not
collect anything, which is why its Data safety section is empty.

Dark by default
It opens dark, with the last sound you used already selected, one tap from playing.

Cradle is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition. Keep the
volume low and the phone away from the crib. If you have concerns about your baby's sleep
or health, talk to your pediatrician.
