Sampann (System for Accounting and Management of Pension) is a government initiative by the Controller General of Communication Accounts under the Department of Telecommunications. It provides a comprehensive pension management system designed specifically for telecom pensioners, offering them a unified platform to manage their pension-related activities efficiently.

The app allows telecom pensioners to seamlessly track their pension status, view electronic Pension Payment Orders (ePPO), lodge and monitor grievances, and access monthly pension statements. It fosters transparency and ensures pensioners stay informed about updates directly through the app.

User credentials for login are auto-generated and shared via SMS or email for pensioners who receive payments directly from Controller of Communication Accounts offices. Sampann simplifies pension management exclusively for telecom pensioners and is supported with a dedicated helpline for queries.

App is very useful for DoT GoI pensioners. Forgot password facility must be provided. It's necessary due to app automatically uninstalls when mobile is formatted. App developer should consider it.
