Cow Tapper

Cow Tapper is a portrait-only Flutter idle game built around a single cheerful dairy cow standing in a hand-painted pasture. The whole experience is rendered in a cohesive cocoa-and-milky color palette: warm brown wooden accents, creamy ivory panels, and two cartoon meadow backdrops that frame every screen of the app.
The core loop is intentionally tactile. The player taps the cow sprite anywhere on the central pasture stage to coax fresh milk out of her. Each tap spawns a small floating value at the exact tap location, makes the cow do a soft squash-and-stretch bounce, increments the milk score, and converts the gained milk into coins one-to-one. A separate critical-tap roll on every press can multiply the gain into a louder red CRIT pop, giving the simple tap a layer of micro-reward variance.
Coins fund three distinct upgrade lines in the Barn Emporium: Tap Doubler, which doubles the milk earned per tap and grows exponentially in cost; Auto Milker, which adds permanent passive milk per second drawn by a tiny barrel-and-tubes sprite; and Critical Tap, which raises both crit chance and crit multiplier. Every upgrade card shows its current effect, the next-level effect, the price, and a level pill, so progression is fully transparent.
The Cream Stars prestige system tracks a separate run-only milk counter. Once a run produces enough milk past the prestige threshold, the player can reset the run and bake cream stars equal to the floor of the square root of overflow milk. Each star is permanent and adds a global twelve-percent multiplier to taps, auto-milking, and crit gains, so prestige is the long-term meta progression layer that compounds across runs.
Cow Tapper also ships with a sixteen-entry achievements codex covering tap counts, lifetime milk, lifetime coins, upgrade levels, and prestige milestones, with a top progress bar showing how many badges are unlocked. The app opens with an animated splash, then a three-page onboarding flow that teaches the cow tap, the coin economy, and the prestige loop. The whole UI is laid out with LayoutBuilder, MediaQuery clamping, SafeArea, Flexible rows, and proportional sprite sizing so it adapts smoothly from compact phones to large tablets without overflow.
