NÁCAR

A reef that stopped glowing.

The reef was seized and bleached out, and its light went with it. You are its manta: a small, bioluminescent glider that swims back into the dark to bring it back, wave by wave.

NÁCAR is a vertical shoot-'em-up with a story mode. Down here there is no sun - only the light the manta carries with it.

HOW A DIVE PLAYS OUT
• Clear the wave: read the enemy patterns, dodge, and fire back.
• Restore a colony: reach the sealed coral colonies and bring their light back online.
• Free the drones: every restored colony frees the allied drones it was holding, and they fight at your side.
• Upgrade your weapons: six weapons, each with its own upgrade path.
• Face the colossus: every zone ends with one of the reef's colossi.

THREE ZONES, ONE DIVE
• The Nursery - where the dive begins, still lit.
• Deep Routes - open water, narrow passages and stronger currents.
• The Bloom's Focus - the source of the bleaching, and the darkest water of all.

FIVE COLOSSI, THEN THE FIRST TIDE
Medusa, Bastion, Hunter, Guardian and Crowned Urchin stand between you and the reef's final wave.
