MoodMirror: 10s Face Check

Your own face is the one you never get to see.

MoodMirror looks at your face through the front camera for ten seconds and tells you what
expression you are wearing right now.
Everything is analysed on your device. Camera frames are never sent anywhere.


■ The 10 second session

While you look at the camera, three signals are measured in real time.

· Smile index
· Brow tension
· Gaze steadiness

When the session ends you get the emotion mix and the average of all three signals.
Ten seconds is short on purpose, so you can check in and get back to your day.


■ Seven emotions

Joy, sadness, surprise, anger, disgust, neutral, focus.
A ring chart shows how much of each was in your face.


■ Photos and videos you already have

Pick a photo or a video from your gallery and read the expression in it.

· Video: how the emotion changed over time, and where your face stayed frozen
· Photo: the emotion mix of that moment plus smile and brow tension

Your original files stay untouched. No copies are made.


■ Today at a glance

The home screen shows how many times you checked today and what your average smile index was.
Past sessions are kept in history, and you can delete them one by one or all at once.


■ A daily reminder

One notification a day, at the time you choose.
It arrives at 11:00 in the morning by default and you can move it to any hour.
If you would rather not be reminded, turn it off in settings.


■ Privacy that stays on the device

· Camera frames, face landmarks and expression values disappear right after the analysis
· All that remains on your phone is the session summary and the emotion mix
· Saved records can be exported as JSON or wiped in one tap
