Cometer

Cometer is a vertical maze survival shooter mobile game that combines random maze exploration with auto-aiming mechanics. Players control a Starwing Explorer moving freely through procedurally generated complex mazes, using a virtual joystick for positioning and tapping the screen to fire homing energy projectiles, engaging waves of various enemies. The game features multiple enemy types including regular slimes, armored beetles, long-range radar monsters, elite winged demons, and maze lords, each with distinct pursuit and attack patterns. Stepping on trap tiles triggers ambushes, and entering boss rooms leads to high-intensity encounters. Defeated enemies drop experience cores and weapon supplies; picking up advanced staves temporarily boosts firepower, while collecting ammunition sustains output. Experience accumulation increases levels, providing movement speed and damage reduction bonuses. As scores rise, spawn rates and enemy caps increase, and boss rooms dynamically unlock, forming a cycle of exploration, combat, growth, and re-challenge. Controls are simple and easy to learn, yet demand strategic trade-offs in positioning, ammunition management, and risky routes, suitable for casual shooter players seeking high scores and extreme survival.
