Combain AI Indoor Survey

Combain AR Indoor Survey is a tool to enable any venue with the new state-of-the-art Combain AI Indoor positioning. Combain AI Indoor Positioning uses deep learning to create an indoor positioning system (IPS) with much better accuracy and floor detection than traditional indoor positioning methods. It is very easy and cost-effective to set up as the positioning utilizes existing infrastructure such as Wi-Fi access points and Bluetooth beacons. The Combain AR Indoor Survey app enables easy and fast collection of training data.

After conducting an indoor survey, Combain AI Indoor automatically creates and publishes a building model to be used with the Combain Location API. The model can also be used for free with the Combain Indoor SDK, which provides accurate indoor location and floor information for Android apps. To deploy Combain AI Indoor Positioning to a venue, follow these steps:

1. The venue needs to have either Wi-Fi or Bluetooth beacon infrastructure in place. The more beacons you have, the better the positioning performance.

2. Create a Combain Indoor account to get a login for the app and to create the building you want to survey. Contact info@combain.com for assistance.

3. Provide an indoor map of the building. If the map is not already available in Google or OSM, you can upload it to the Combain Indoor portal.

4. Conduct an indoor survey using the Combain AR Indoor Survey app (available for Android only).

Once these steps are completed, you are ready to use Combain AI Indoor positioning:

a) For tracking devices: Use Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth scanning, and then look up the exact location with the Combain Location API.

b) For phones: Develop applications with the Combain Indoor SDK for iOS and Android. It is the fastest way to enable applications with accurate and reliable indoor positioning capabilities. The Combain Indoor SDK is available for free usage!

c) Optional: If you want to track your devices/mobiles and see them on a map, create geofences, etc., you can use Traxmate's IoT tracking platform at https://traxmate.io.
