User Reviews

Users praise Lifelinker for clear life-tracking, saving setups, and MTG-oriented formats, especially Commander, and for its straightforward, lightweight core features. However, repeatedly reported problems across reviews focus on licensing and purchase restoration across devices, persistent upgrade recognition issues, performance slowdowns, data loss after sign-out or reinstall, and a perceived over-reliance on paid features. UI/UX quirks and limited customization without paying further detract from the experience. Overall, strong core functionality is overshadowed by reliability and monetization concerns that many users cite as deal-breakers.
Pros
  • Clear and effective life-tracking with intuitive controls.
  • Save and reuse game setups, names, and colors.
  • MTG-focused features and formats support, especially Commander.
  • Barebones, functional feature set that covers core needs.
Cons
  • Persistent purchase restoration/licensing issues across devices, with codes or emails not arriving or not recognized.
  • Significant performance problems: long initial load times and general slowness.
  • Data loss or inability to retain purchases/data after reinstall or sign-out.
  • Limited customization and features unless you pay; perceived paywall.
  • UI/UX quirks causing confusion, like small start button, tiny indicators, and life delta not showing.

I've had this app since it came out. Previously functioned without any issues. Now on android, I can't edit names, or apply backgrounds. Even when I restore, there is no place to apply the backgrounds. I had most of them too!
