User Reviews
Pros
- Simple and functional note-taking with essential formatting options like bold, italics, and underlined text.
- Good layout and design with smooth, easy editor and well-organized structure using categories, folders, and tags.
- Syncs with multiple cloud storage services such as Dropbox, Google Drive, and Nextcloud instead of relying on proprietary servers.
- Offers a lifetime premium option that many users find a good value compared to other apps.
- Offline functionality combined with cloud synchronization offers flexibility and reliability.
Cons
- Syncing issues especially after reinstalling the app or switching devices; notes do not always sync back properly, causing data loss risk.
- No ability to see all notes at once, requiring users to manage and scroll through categories which can be cumbersome.
- Lack of title or heading input for notes, which users desire for better organization.
- Storage location for attachments is not selectable, causing problems on devices with limited internal storage as attachments always save to onboard storage.
- Some bugs and glitches in the text editor and features for rich formatting after upgrading to premium, causing user frustration.
Recent reviews
EDIT: I previously reviewed 2 stars since the some free text features had been locked behind the premium version. Features like word bolding, italics, bulleted lists, numbered lists, checklists, and different text headings. I've reviewed other note-taking apps have these same feature as free. But months later, the developers responded and eventually made those text features free again. It's nice to know that the devs are paying attention to users even if it takes a while.

This is a simple app, yet has everything you need for writing, lists, and so much more. I like the way it has the options for bold, underlined, or italics in the text.
