Users report that the Cogeco Média app is easy to navigate and supports casting to Google Home as well as listening to past recordings. However, there are widespread issues with frequent crashes, unexpected stopping of playback, excessive ads before listening, failure to pause audio during phone calls, and repeated update prompts. These problems significantly hamper the user experience and have not been resolved by recent updates.

Stops playback unexpectedly or after a short period
Contains many ads including before starting listening
Does not pause sound during phone calls
Has bugs causing update prompts repeatedly even after updating

When the player is running it installs a player widget in the scroll down notifications and actually prevents scrolling them down as the player widget springs back into view as soon as we release the finger drag. Annoying to a fault. There are other options to listen like TuneIn.
