As you know, chess is one of the oldest strategy games in the world.
Chess is an excellent board logic game that develops skills such as tactics, strategy and visual memory.
I am trying to create an app that allows players of any level to enjoy the game.

Chess pieces:

- A pawn moves one or two spaces forward on the first move of the figure; one space forward diagonally.

- A king moves one space vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
- A queen moves any distance vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
- A rook moves any distance vertically or horizontally.
- A knight moves two spaces vertically and one space horizontally, or one space vertically and two spaces horizontally.
- A bishop moves any distance diagonally.

Important chess situations:

- Check - a situation in chess when the king is under direct attack from an opponent's piece

- Checkmate - a situation in chess when the player whose turn it is to move is in check and has no legal moves to escape check.

- Stalemate - a situation in chess when the player whose turn it is to move has no legal moves and is not checkmated. (Draw)

The goal of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king.

Two special moves in chess:

- Castling is a double move performed by the king and a rook that has never moved.

- En passant is a move in which a pawn can capture an opponent's piece if the opponent's piece jumps over a region under the blow of the pawn.
