5km: Voice Running Tracker

Run with voice guidance, at your own pace.
5km brings voice coaching, pace goals, a cadence metronome and run history into one running tracker. Buy once and keep using it, with no ads, subscriptions or extra in-app purchases. Start without an account and keep your records on your device.

SET YOUR DISTANCE AND PACE
Drag the curved distance control to choose a goal. Pick a pace from 3:00 to 10:00 per km in 30-second steps, or enter your own. See an estimated finish time for your distance and pace.

LISTEN WHILE YOU RUN
Hear distance, time, pace and cadence without repeatedly checking your screen. Choose an announcement interval, including 100 meters. Use Korean character voices or Korean and English system voices. A steady countdown gets you started.

FIND YOUR STEP RHYTHM
Cadence means steps per minute. Set a metronome rhythm and choose click, woodblock, beep, rain, snow, leaves or a playful fart sound. Play alongside music and choose whether announcements lower its volume.

RUN WITH WEAR OS
See heart rate, distance, pace and cadence on Galaxy Watch and other Wear OS watches. Pause and resume from your wrist. Start a run on your paired Android phone, then start heart-rate measurement in the watch app. Distance, pace and cadence come from the phone. A paired phone is required; the watch app does not record standalone runs.

HEART RATE WITH YOUR RUN HISTORY
With your permission, read heart rate from Health Connect to show readings during your run and heart-rate graphs in your history. Other watches must sync through their own compatible apps and readings may arrive later. 5km does not automatically write data to Health Connect or Samsung Health.

YOUR PROGRESS AND RUNNING PHOTOS
Review GPS routes, distance, time, pace and a growth graph from your first day. Browse photos taken in the app in a separate album and share running photo cards. This Android version displays GPS routes without a map background.

PAUSE OR FINISH WITH INTENTION
Pause and finish are separate controls. Hold the finish button to fill the gauge and end your run. For runs under 500 meters, choose whether to save. Tracking and an ongoing workout notification continue when you lock the screen.

Optional permissions: location for distance and routes, physical activity for cadence, camera for photos, notifications for workout status, and health/heart-rate access for the heart-rate features you enable. Manage permissions in device settings.
5km is a fitness tracker, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent disease.
