Tomelight: EPUB & MOBI Reader

Tomelight is an ebook reader for people who read a lot and want the interface out of the way. The page has no buttons: just the text, the margins and you. Long-press any word to see what it means, right on the page.

BOOKS
• EPUB, PDF, FB2 (including .fb2.zip), MOBI, AZW3 and TXT
• PDF with text becomes real reflowable text, or switch to the original page
• Add books from your files, from any cloud app in the system file picker, or with "Open with" from another app
• Watch a folder on your phone or in Google Drive: new books are added to your library by themselves. Tomelight only reads the folder and never changes anything in it
• Free public-domain books from Project Gutenberg: browse, search and download them right in the app
• Connect an OPDS catalog, such as your own Calibre, Kavita or COPS server, and download books straight into your library

DICTIONARY
• Long-press a word to see its meaning and pronunciation without leaving the book
• Dictionaries download once and work offline
• Dictionaries for English, Russian, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese, plus English to Russian translation
• Saved words collect in a list of their own

READING
• Tap the edge of the page, swipe, or use the volume buttons to turn pages
• Slide a finger along the left edge to change brightness
• Table of contents, bookmarks and full-text search
• Footnotes open right on the page
• Highlight quotes in four colours, add notes, copy or share them

READ ALOUD
• Uses any voice installed on your phone
• Highlights the sentence being read, skips by sentence, speed from 0.5x to 3x
• Keeps reading in the background with the screen off, with controls on the lock screen and headset buttons

TOMELIGHT PRO
• Translate a sentence or a selected passage on your phone, offline after a one-time download
• Review cards: your saved words come back with spaced repetition and the sentence where you met them
• Export words to Anki or CSV, and quotes with notes to Markdown
• Yearly or lifetime purchase. Reading, the dictionary and read aloud stay free

TEXT YOUR WAY
• Literata, PT Serif, Inter, Atkinson Hyperlegible or the system font
• Text size, line spacing, margins, justification and hyphenation
• Pages or continuous scrolling
• Light, sepia, dark and black page themes, and a dark theme for the whole app

E-INK
• E-Ink mode for e-paper readers: no animations and higher contrast
• Front light control on Onyx BOOX

The interface speaks 16 languages, including English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Arabic.
