Somebody lost a mitten. Can you find it?

Hidden Mitten is a quiet seek-and-find picture game for children from 3 to 12, in two games: 3+ and 6+. Twenty-eight busy scenes in two books, and nothing else - no timer, no score, no lives, and no way to lose.

NO READING REQUIRED
The things to look for are shown as pictures, not words. Found ones stay in place with a tick, so the list never reshuffles under a small finger. Every scene hides more than one round asks for, so coming back brings a different set.

A HINT THAT WAITS TO BE ASKED
Stuck? When a while goes by without a find, the light-bulb button starts to glow. One tap and soft golden rings spread around the area a missing thing is in - narrowing the search without giving the answer. The hint never pops up by itself. Hints are unlimited and free.

TWO BOOKS OF BUSY PLACES
Adventures, in pencil and watercolour: zoo, railway station, market, harbour, building site, fair, farm, ice rink, beach, airfield, dinosaurs and castle.
Halloween, cosy and never scary: sixteen scenes with rabbits and mice, owls, a black cat and a kind old witch.

MEMORY GAME AND TRACE GAME
The Memory Game button in each book deals round picture cards in pairs. At 3+ the pictures start face up, then the cards close, then scatter on the table. At 6+ each card shows for ten seconds, then turns over. Advanced goes up to 25 pairs, look-alikes included; two players take turns as the witches Rowan and Lindy.
Trace Game, at 3+: a finger follows a dotted path, from straight lines to magic silhouettes that turn into the real thing.

MADE FOR SMALL FINGERS
Generous tap areas and oversized buttons. On a phone the picture opens closer, so every thing is big enough for a finger, and moves with a swipe.

STICKERS, PUZZLES AND CROWNS
Find the last thing and a veil falls over the picture - wipe it away with a finger and the scene underneath is alive. Every finished scene gives its own sticker to press into the album. Each sticker is also a jigsaw - 2 to 6 pieces at 3+, 6 to 12 at 6+ - first with the picture faint on the board, then on a blank board. Finish the hardest and a golden crown goes on the sticker; crown every Halloween sticker and a golden mitten tops the album.

WHAT IS NOT IN HERE
- No advertising of any kind. Not one banner, not one video.
- No analytics, attribution or crash-reporting SDKs. Not disabled - not present in the build.
- No account, no sign-up, no email, no name, no location, no camera.
- No internet connection needed. Every scene ships inside the app.
- No coins, no energy, no loot boxes, no subscription.

FOR PARENTS
Choose a book, then the 3+ or 6+ game; each keeps its own progress. 3+, the default, asks for eight things a round and takes Halloween in order: scene, sticker, puzzle, next scene. 6+ asks for twelve, with more puzzle pieces and a later hint. Progress is a small file on the device and never leaves it. The purchase screen and every link out of the app sit behind a parental gate - a two-digit multiplication a young child cannot pass by accident.

FREE, AND ONE OPTIONAL PURCHASE
Six scenes are free and complete: the first four of Halloween, and the zoo and the station from Adventures. So are the first nine Memory levels and the first twelve Trace levels. One purchase unlocks the other twenty-two scenes, every puzzle, the remaining levels, Memory Advanced and playing for two, permanently, on every device signed into the same Google Account. That is the only thing that is ever for sale.

Hidden Mitten is a picture puzzle for toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children: a look-and-find book on a tablet. Spot the mitten among the animals at the zoo, the teapot among the boats in the harbour, the owl and the black cat in the witch's cottage. If you grew up with a Wimmelbuch or a busy picture book, this is that, without the advertising.
