When the developers of an app don't provide a digital signature to download, a checksum is the least worst workaround. Checksums up to algorithm SHA-2 are supported. When SHA-3 gets implemented 5 stars(if I'm still managing this account by then to change the review scores) I did not see any ads yet so can't yet give a score related to that

2021-09-26	Ma*****	If you need an app to hash a file or text without and pomp or frills, this is the app for you. It's open source and has no internet access, so it's safe and secure. Thank you for contributing this awesome app that does exactly what's needed. Developers like you don't get the appreciation they deserve, but know that this guy sincerely appreciates you and your contributions to the open source ecosystem.
