It basically consists of 2 modules:
1- Calculation of Gestational Age, with 3 input possibilities: DPP (probable date of birth), previous Ultrasound Exam or LMP (date of last menstruation).
2- Basic biometrics, which provides
- Calculation of estimated fetal weight based on basic biometrics, according to classic works by Hadlock.
- Length (height) of the fetus, according to a formula developed by Anthony Vintzileos.
- Plotting fetal weight on a Weight X Gestational Age graph. For this graphic demonstration, we used the superimposition of 4 graphs that I believe to be the most expressive today, from a scientific point of view. Two that were population-based, Intergrowth 21th Project and the WHO, both published in 2017; The chart created by Hadlock, due to its scientific rigor that made it the most used in the world today; and the graph from the Fetal Medicine Foundation, which despite being based only on the English population, has the endorsement of one of the largest research centers in Fetal Medicine in the world.
