Learn DevOps: Docker & K8s

Learn DevOps with short, interactive lessons you can finish on your phone. DevOps Bootcamp takes you from your first Linux commands to Docker containers, Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code, one concept at a time, with an AI Mentor you can ask about the exact lesson you are on.

142 courses and 568 lessons, organised in eight tracks and levelled from beginner to advanced. The first course of every track is free, and you can start without creating an account.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
• Linux & Bash: the command line, files and permissions, processes, SSH, grep, awk, jq and shell scripting
• Git & GitHub: commits, branching, merging, pull requests, hooks and release tagging
• Docker: images, containers, Dockerfiles, Docker Compose, networking, volumes and container security
• Kubernetes (k8s): clusters, pods, deployments, services, configuration, storage and scheduling
• Helm: charts, releases, values.yaml, templates, hooks and Helm in pipelines
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions workflows, Jenkins with Docker, deployment strategies and pipeline security
• Terraform: infrastructure as code, state, modules, workspaces, and provisioning on AWS and Azure
• Ansible: inventories, playbooks, roles, Jinja2 templates, Vault and Molecule tests
• Plus GitOps with Argo CD and Flux, monitoring and observability, and a zero-downtime capstone deploy

HANDS-ON DEBUGGING MISSIONS
Twenty troubleshooting missions in a simulated terminal, the way a DevOps engineer meets problems at work: a 1.9 GB image nobody can pull, pods that will not start, a probe that kills the app while it boots, a CI job that is green on your laptop and red in the runner, an alert that stayed green through an outage. Five areas: containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability and reliability. Nothing is deployed and nothing is billed. Two missions are free; Pro opens all twenty.

PRACTICE THAT STICKS
• Daily mini quiz with an explanation for every answer
• Questions you miss come back as flashcards on a spaced repetition schedule
• DevOps cheat sheet with the commands and syntax you look up most: Docker, kubectl, Git, Linux and more
• Notes on any lesson, and a saved list for the things you want to revisit

LEARN WITH AI
• AI Mentor: ask about the lesson in front of you and get an answer in context. Free users get a few questions every day; Pro removes the daily limit.
• AI lesson generator: name a DevOps topic and get a structured lesson built for you. Free users can create one lesson a week; Pro makes it unlimited.
• Lessons can be translated into your own language, and the app itself is available in 22 languages.

STAY CONSISTENT
• Daily streaks with streak freezes, so one missed day does not erase your progress
• XP, levels and a leaderboard
• Study reminders at the time you choose

WHO IT IS FOR
Developers moving into DevOps or platform engineering, system administrators learning containers and automation, students preparing for a first cloud engineer or site reliability role, and anyone who wants to understand what happens between a git push and production. No laptop, cloud account or credit card is needed to learn.

FREE AND PRO
Free: the first course in each of the eight tracks, a short preview of every other lesson, two debugging missions, the daily quiz, flashcard review, the cheat sheet, and a few AI Mentor questions a day.
Pro (a subscription you can cancel anytime in Google Play): every course and lesson, all twenty missions, unlimited AI Mentor and unlimited AI lessons.
