Stream your desktop at up to 120 FPS through a hardware-accelerated H.264 pipeline, with automatic fallback if no hardware encoder is available. Your real cursor — not a generic dot — is rendered at the true hotspot with smooth, natural motion. Zoom in with pan-follow, rotate freely with your device, and every stream stays letterboxed to the correct aspect ratio. Fully multi-monitor aware.

🖱️ CONTROL THAT ACTUALLY LANDS
Tap, drag, scroll, and long-press to right-click, with full stylus and S-Pen support including hover and pressure sensitivity. A complete keyboard with Unicode and emoji input, plus a dedicated toolbar for modifier and function keys. Input reaches elevated/admin windows on Windows, so a UAC prompt won't leave your taps doing nothing.

📁 REAL FILE SHARING, NOT A TOY
A full file manager on both your phone and your PC — browse, search, sort, create folders, view image thumbnails, and drag-and-drop uploads. Transfers are resumable: lose Wi-Fi mid-transfer, reconnect, and it continues right where it left off, with every file verified end-to-end via SHA-256. Share to RemEx from any Android app to push files straight to your PC, and tap Open on a finished download to launch it immediately. Turn on opt-in full-device browsing when you want to explore the whole remote file system.

See CPU load, memory load, and uptime the instant you open the app, plus real-time hardware sensors (HWiNFO on Windows, lmsensors on Linux) you can arrange freely on a large, customizable canvas. Your most recent activity — files sent and received, apps launched, power actions, commands run from either side — is right there on the Home screen.

⚡ POWER & QUICK ACTIONS
Lock, shut down, restart, restart to UEFI, sleep, hibernate, or turn off the monitor — plus wake your PC from anywhere with Wake-on-LAN. Eight one-tap Quick Settings tiles with two-stage haptic feedback, so you can feel the difference between "sent" and "acknowledged."

🔒 SECURITY BUILT IN, NOT BOLTED ON
Every byte travels over TLS 1.3. Pairing uses ECDH P-256 key exchange with a 6-digit PIN, and your phone pins your PC's certificate by its SHA-256 fingerprint — an unrecognized certificate fails closed instead of being silently trusted. There's no cloud relay and no account: your phone talks directly to your PC, and nowhere else. The host runs elevated, inside your own signed-in desktop session — never as a hidden background service you can't see.

Material 3 Expressive and Jetpack Compose create an incredibly customizable experience that is elegant, functional and most importantly, exactly how you want it to be. Change the color palette with ease, or let the app take on the same colors that your phone already uses. Subtle animations can be seen everywhere, delivering a highly polished experience on Android.

RemEx is open source and under active development, with real fixes and features landing every release — not just version-number bumps. Elegant, fun, and incredibly functional, this app is a combination of some of my favorite features from different programs, some of which get paywalled or degraded. Not here. This was an app I made for myself, and thought that maybe someone else might like it too.
