Use of Accurate Location Data

The Clean Neighborhood Project app uses precise location information solely to support the accurate tracking and verification of volunteer service activities.
Specifically, accurate location data is collected during active volunteer sessions to:
•Record the start time, duration, and completion of volunteer work.
•Verify that volunteer activity occurred at a real, physical location.
•Document the general areas where litter cleanup took place
•Provide an accurate and auditable record of community service hours for students, volunteers, schools, and partner organizations

This location data functions as a verification measure to ensure that reported volunteer work was actually completed and to maintain the integrity of logged service hours.
Location tracking occurs only while a volunteer session is active and is not used for background surveillance, advertising, or unrelated analytics.
