Trentari Blueprint

Trentari Blueprint is a small, offline studio about how houses are put together.

Not a magazine, not a marketplace, and not another Pinterest board — just five tools you can open on a plane, on a site visit, or on the sofa while a floor plan takes shape in your head. The whole thing runs on the device; nothing is uploaded, nothing is fetched.

Inside the app

Styles Atlas — twelve houses, drawn plain.
Colonial, Craftsman, Victorian, Modernist, Tudor Revival, Mediterranean, Cape Cod, Georgian, Bauhaus, Prairie, Ranch and A-Frame. Each entry names the era, the region it came from, the materials it is usually built with, and the roof, window and porch moves that define its silhouette. The little silhouette next to each name is drawn on a Canvas from the style's own geometry rather than pulled from a photo library, so it scales and stays crisp without loading anything.

Facade Composer — five knobs, an answer.
Pick a roof (flat, gable, gambrel, hip), a window type (double-hung, casement, bay, picture), a cladding (brick, clapboard, stucco, stone), a porch (none, small, full, wraparound) and toggle whether the facade is symmetric. The app draws that facade in real time and ranks all twelve atlas styles against your choices, showing the three closest with a confidence bar. It works because each style is described as a small feature vector: exact matches score full points, one-step neighbours score half, and the symmetry rule contributes a smaller weight. Save a preset when you land on something you like.

Room Proportions — the golden ratio, on your kitchen.
Type width, length and height in metres. Trentari draws a top-down plan to scale, compares the long-to-short ratio against φ ≈ 1.618, and rates the ceiling height against Le Corbusier's Modulor comfort band (2.26–2.96 m). The verdict is a plain English sentence — "matches the golden ratio", "ceiling low for Modulor", "cavernous
— height dominates" — plus the floor area and volume. Save rooms to compare them later.

Sun & Site — the math your architect uses.
Type a latitude, pick the orientation your main facade faces (N/E/S/W), and drag a slider through the year. The app computes the sun's altitude and azimuth every half hour with a synodic solar model, draws the daily path on a dome, and reports the noon altitude, hours of direct sun on the facade, and the overhang depth (in centimetres) that would shade a 2.5 m window at solar noon. A short paragraph explains why south-facing rooms heat up in winter and west-facing rooms cook in July.

Blueprint Trivia — ten rounds.
Silhouettes, terms and eras drawn from the atlas — "which roof has four sloping sides meeting at a ridge?", "what is a fanlight?", "Modulor was proposed by whom?". Your best score is kept on the device.

How it stays honest

Every calculation is local and repeatable. The solar model uses a compact Julian-day formula; the room verdicts use published ratios (φ and Modulor). No weather feeds, no cloud-shading services, no plot APIs — the numbers come out the same on a plane as on your home network, because there is no network.
