User Reviews

Users like the app for portability and classroom use, but major flaws persist: missing the Timeline song, no week-by-week playback, intermittent audio problems, and alignment with the latest edition. Many feel it’s overpriced for what’s offered and would prefer the CD or more complete features. Overall, convenient but incomplete.

Pros

  • Portable and handy for travel; memory work accessible on the go.
  • Useful for classroom or tutoring use, enabling weekly song reviews with groups.
  • Memory work is available in a digital format, making review convenient without CDs.

Cons

  • Timeline song is missing from the app.
  • No option to play memory work by week or to play through multiple weeks; app often auto-plays week 1 when switching subjects.
  • Audio issues for history (and some other) weeks, with playback not working consistently.
  • Content not up to date with latest edition and some content ordering (e.g., Science Weeks) is off.
  • App is perceived as overpriced given missing features and content (timeline song, weekly playback, etc.).
Recent reviews

The photos and words are overcrowded, and in many cases overlapping. This is still better than the other half of the app which has most of each slide cut off the page. Since this is a pretty expensive paid app (and I know the developer is capable, since cycles 1 & 3 do not share the same problems aside from the geography), I expect better. It defeats the purpose if I have to sit down with the book and go through each item 7x each every day with my child anyway. Please fix it.

It would be so helpful if it had the timeline song as well as the ability to play the memory work by week rather than switching back and forth between subjects. Didn't use it as much as I imagined. I like the Cds far more.
