Clafy helps you understand what's really inside the food you buy. Simply scan the barcode of any packaged food product and get an instant personalized rating based on your profile and goals.

How it works
Scan any barcode → Clafy looks up the product from a database of millions of food items → analyses the ingredients and nutrition values → gives you a clear rating based on your personal profile.

How we rate
Clafy checks the nutrition values per 100g of the product including fat, saturated fat, sugars, and sodium. Each value is compared against the thresholds of your selected profile. Too high in any nutrient? It gets flagged in yellow or red. Within limits? It stays green.

Personalized to you
Set up your profile to General, Low Sugar, Low Sodium, or Low Saturated Fat and Clafy adjusts its thresholds to match your goals. No one-size-fits-all ratings.

Avoided Ingredients
Build a personal watchlist of ingredients you want flagged. Clafy will instantly alert you if any scanned product contains them.

For example, if you add MSG to your watchlist, Clafy will flag it no matter what name it appears under. Whether it's listed as monosodium glutamate, glutamic acid, or E621. Every ingredient in Clafy comes with its full list of aliases so nothing slips through.

You can add hundreds of ingredients to your personal watchlist. Not sure where to start? Clafy comes with ready made themes you can add with a single tap covering Regulatory (ingredients banned in the EU, UK, or California), Health (gut health, heart health, kidney health and more), Dietary (vegan, gluten free, dairy free) and Additives (artificial colors, sweeteners, flavors and emulsifiers).
