GPS Simulator — Mock Location

GPS Simulator is a location simulation tool designed for app developers, QA testers, and map users. Using Android's built-in Mock Location API, you can set a virtual location for your device to test how apps behave at different places.

【Main Features】

• Route Simulation
Place multiple waypoints and let the app simulate movement along the connected path at your chosen speed. Presets for walking (5 km/h), brisk walking (8 km/h), jogging (10 km/h), and cycling (20 km/h), or set any custom speed. Optional looping and speed jitter to simulate realistic movement.

• Single-point Teleport
Drag the map to a target location and teleport with one tap. You can also enter an address or coordinates in the search bar, or auto-detect coordinates from the clipboard. Update to a new location anytime.

• Random Walk
Set a center point and radius (20 m / 100 m / 300 m / 500 m / 1000 m). The app generates random paths within range automatically.

• Joystick Mode
Control GPS direction in real time with a virtual joystick, with adjustable speed. Great for dynamic test scenarios.

• Floating Controls
A mini control panel can float above other apps during simulation, so you can keep operating while using other apps.

• Route Management
Save frequently-used routes and locations. GPX import supported. Long-press the map to quickly add saved points.

【Setup】

1. Enable "Developer Options" in Settings (tap "Build number" 7 times in About if not enabled)
2. Open "Mock location app" and select GPS Simulator
3. Launch the app

【Privacy】

This app itself does not collect or upload personal data — your saved routes, points and preferences stay on the device. To keep the app free, the Google AdMob SDK is integrated, which processes minimal data (Android advertising ID, coarse IP-based location, device info, ad interactions) to serve ads. EU/UK/Switzerland users see a consent dialog on first launch. See our privacy policy for full details.

【Permissions】

• Location (including mock location): write simulated coordinates
• Foreground service: prevents the system from killing the simulation
• Internet: downloads OpenStreetMap tiles and loads ads
• Display over other apps: floating control panel
• Notifications: displays simulation status
