Sport Timeline - guess the year of sports history events. 5 rounds, 3 lives.
🏆 Sports Timeline - Sports History Year Quiz
Sport Timeline is a focused sports history quiz built for quick sessions on your phone. Read a real event headline, slide to one of four possible years, and tap Submit before your session timer runs out. Sport Timeline keeps every round clear: one question, four years, one answer.
⚽ How Sports Timeline Works
Tap Play on the home screen to start a session in Sport Timeline. Each session has five rounds. Each round shows a written sports history event and the question: when did this happen? Move the year slider across four close year options, confirm your choice with Submit, and continue through the session. A correct answer adds 100 points. An incorrect answer removes one life. You begin with three lives and a 90-second countdown for the full session.
🎯 Gameplay Features in Sport Timeline
Sport Timeline displays a live score counter, a round indicator showing progress through five rounds, heart icons for remaining lives, and a visible session timer that updates every second. After each answer, on-screen feedback shows whether you were correct or incorrect before you move to the next step. When rounds remain, the action button lets you continue. On the final round, it lets you finish the session.
📚 Sports Events in Sport Timeline
Sport Timeline includes a pool of 18 historical sports events covering Olympic history, FIFA World Cup moments, athletics milestones, football highlights, basketball history, tennis, gymnastics, and more. For each session, five events are chosen at random without repeats inside the same run, so repeated play feels varied while staying fair.
📋 Session Rules
• Five rounds per session
• Three lives at the start
• One 90-second timer for the entire session
• Four year options on the slider in each round
• +100 points for each correct answer
• One life lost for each incorrect answer
• Session ends after five completed rounds, when lives reach zero, or when the timer reaches zero
• Victory appears when you finish all five rounds with at least one life remaining
🏁 Results Screen in Sport Timeline
When a session ends, Sport Timeline opens a results screen with your outcome. You may see Victory, Time's Up, or Out of Lives depending on how the session finished. The screen also shows your final score, how many answers were correct out of five, and how many seconds were left on the timer.
📊 Local Score Table
Sport Timeline saves completed sessions on your device. The score table shows up to five recently completed runs sorted by points. Each entry includes score, correct answers, result status, and date. This is a personal on-device record, not an online ranking system.
🔁 Play Again
From the results screen, tap Play Again to begin a new session in Sport Timeline with reset score, full lives, a fresh 90-second timer, and a new random set of events. You return directly to gameplay without restarting from the home screen.
📱 Design and Controls
Sport Timeline uses a portrait layout with a dark sports-themed background, readable event cards, a large selected year display, gradient buttons, and a simple three-screen flow: home, game, and results. No account is required to play.
🔒 Offline Use
Sport Timeline does not require an internet connection for core gameplay. Launch the app, tap Play, answer events, and review your results locally on your device.
👥 Who Will Enjoy Sport Timeline
Sport Timeline suits sports fans, quiz players, students revising memorable sporting dates, and anyone who wants a short challenge about when famous moments happened. Sessions can be short when answers come quickly, or longer when you think through each year carefully.
⭐ Start Playing Sports Timeline
Open Sport Timeline, tap Play, read the event, choose the year on the slider, and submit your answer. Track your score, protect your lives, manage the timer, and see how you perform across five rounds. Sport Timeline is ready for your next sports history session.
