The World Hearth once hammered history firm. One night, it burned down. Its shards scattered across five lands - fire, water, wood, light and dark - and now every land is fighting over them. Called by the hearth's last embers, you set out from the ruins as one of the heroes. Whatever burned the hearth is still there, at the bottom of the forge.

- Read every move
You always see what the enemy will do next. Touch a card and the board shows exactly how much HP it will take off. Attacks land the moment you play them, and the preview always matches the result. Win by reading the board, not by luck.

- Relics make every run different
Right after you set out, choose one of three relics. A different relic means different cards worth taking. Every boss you defeat - one every four battles - powers your relic up another step.

- Grow your deck battle by battle
Start with your hero's own 12 cards. After every battle, pick one of four offered cards to add. Once your deck is full, refine it by swapping cards or reforging them.

- 20 heroes, 20 ways to win
Agni stokes the flames and burns foes down, Nereia builds a tide with water cards, Sage wears enemies down with poison. Every hero has a unique ability and card set, and a completely different path to victory. Each level a hero gains opens up more cards to use.

- Fall, and set out again
Lose an expedition and you give up your deck and relic and start again from battle one. Your heroes' levels and the cards you have collected stay with you. Each clear raises the difficulty one step for an even tougher expedition.

- Battle 21, at the bottom of the forge
Only those who have crossed all five lands and cleared 20 battles with 10 different heroes may enter battle 21.
