My school recently switched from Concur to Emburse. This app freezes as soon as I take a picture of a receipt. I tried force stop, clear data, and clear cache....all didn't fix the app. I gave up.

Review summary
Reviews for Chrome River Android repeatedly cite stability and login problems, a poor UI/UX, and slow performance. Crashes and white screens disrupt receipt uploads; authentication flows (codes, 2FA, SSO) are unreliable; navigation feels non-native and cumbersome. A minority note mobile usefulness for expense approvals, but the overall sentiment is negative.
Pros
- Some users report the app functions well for expense approvals on mobile.
Cons
- Frequent crashes and freezing, including receipt capture and white-screen loading during use.
- Persistent login and authentication problems (unable to login, verification codes not received, 2FA issues, and SSO sign-outs).
- Poor UI/UX with a non-native feel and clunky workflows/navigation.
- Overall slow performance and delays during usage.

Not just a terrible app, but also a company with a terrible overall product. They will freely admit that, even though you can set up your direct deposit account as a savings account, their system ASSUMES that everything is a checking account. This is after months of my company requesting support for why my direct deposits are being rejected by my bank, with every one support requsst returned 'resolved' with no contact from Emburse. Do not use this product!

Constantly crashes! Worthless

Terrible user interface. The back button will quit the app and had to login numerous times after pressing back button when I just want to return back to the previous screen. Can't take screenshots to submit the errors.

Horrible. Screen splits after adding recipes. Makes it almost unsable

Something it works, today is not working. After many attempts of trying to login and receive a verify account, have not received an email with verification code.
