# Quick Start: Importing Your First Hymn

Choralis reads .zip hymn packages. Each hymn should be packaged as one ZIP archive containing its audio tracks and optional files such as sheet music and metadata.

### Audio Tracks

Include one audio file for each voice part.

Supported formats: MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, AAC, FLAC

Important: All audio tracks must be pre-synchronized. They must have the same duration and begin at exactly the same point so they remain aligned during playback.

### Preparing Your ZIP File

1. Align your audio tracks.
Make sure all tracks have the same duration and starting point.

2. Name each track according to its voice part:

* soprano.mp3
* alto.mp3
* tenor.mp3
* bass.mp3

3. Add an optional info.txt file containing hymn information:

4. Add your sheet music PDF, if available.

5. ZIP everything together.
The ZIP filename becomes the hymn title in Choralis.

For example:

Amazing_Grace.zip

will appear as:

Amazing Grace

6. Transfer the ZIP file to your phone.

7. Open Choralis, select Import, and choose the ZIP file.

That's it! Choralis will extract and organize the hymn in your library.
