Better than the first game, as relocating to the basement shift has more opportunities for scaring the player visually and audibly. The atmosphere is dark, eerie, and some of the locations show some disturbing imagery (chapel/furnace and morgue). Though it is more scarier, the graphics are still god awful, and they replace the "wind up the music box" gimmick of FNAF 2 with "crank up this power generator", which is just disrespectful to Scott Cawthon, imo. They couldn't even credit him for FNAF.
