User Reviews

Reviews most often praise the humor, writing, characters, and replayability. The main recurring frustration is demanding, unclear stat checks. A few players also wanted chapter-based restarts and found parts of the plot difficult to follow.

Pros

Frequently praised for witty, hilarious writing and dialogue.
Enjoyable, well-crafted story with entertaining situations and choices.
Memorable, well-written characters that many players felt attached to.
High replay value, with multiple routes, outcomes, and endings to discover.

Cons

Stat checks are often strict, and it can be unclear which stats choices require.
No chapter checkpoints or convenient way to restart after a mistake, making replaying some routes tedious.
Some players found the plot hard to follow or felt it became jumbled near the end.

Recent reviews

I actually like the writer's style and the story, however I have to agree with other reviewers that the stat requirements are too unforgiving, and more often that not it's not clear what stat will be tested for what choice, which considerably affected my enjoyment of the game
