Very well written... Until it's not. Punishes the player in very stupid ways, even if they do everything right, make the skill check, etc. There are points in the story that feel like "whelp, I haven't screwed with the character or punished the player for shelling out $12 in a while... I'd better get on that." This game specializes in the sort of dumb GM calls that start fights at the gaming table. That's poor design, and a major issue for me. It is an enjoyable read though for the most part.
