FUDE — Code Editor

FUDE is a fast, focused code editor built for Android.

It is made for the times when you need to inspect a file, make a quick change, or work on a small project without reaching for a laptop. Open files from your device, browse local project folders, edit in tabs, and save your changes directly back to storage.

Connect directly to SSH/SFTP servers you configure to browse remote projects, open and edit files, save changes back to the server, and create, rename, or delete remote files and folders. Upload and download files when you need to move project data.

FUDE supports syntax highlighting for many common languages, including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, HTML, CSS, JSON, Markdown, Java, Kotlin, C, C++, C#, Go, Rust, PHP, SQL, Shell, YAML, XML, Swift, Dart, Lua, Ruby, R, PowerShell, and more.

The editor includes the essentials you would expect:

FUDE is intentionally not a full desktop IDE. It does not try to bundle a terminal, debugger, Git client, cloud account, or AI assistant. The goal is simpler: make editing real code on an Android device quick and comfortable.

There are no ads, no account requirement, and no analytics service tracking what you open or write. FUDE accesses local files and user-configured remote projects only when you choose to open or transfer them.
